Wild 'n Out for Jesus

 

Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Mt. Vernon Youth Ministry to impact and empower the lives of our youth by responding to their social and spiritual needs; to provide fun and enriching programs, activities, and events that will allow them to express their faith and foster a personal and everlasting relationship with Jesus Christ; to encourage them to use their individual talents in programs and ministries that interest them in order to nurture their growth; to impart biblical truths that promote personal success in their lives and lay the foundation for a Christ-centered life.

Vision Statement: The vision of the Mt. Vernon Youth Ministry is to let the young people of our church and community know that they matter, and to provide them with a space where they are welcomed, heard, and accepted into a spiritual family that will not judge them.

Purpose: The purpose of the Mt. Vernon Youth Ministry is to reach out to the youth with the love of God as revealed to us in Jesus Christ. We aim to help each young person apply Christianity to every area of life as they develop their faith and spirituality. We strive to foster an environment where students will discover new friendships and are comfortable ministering to others.

Every 3rd Sunday is Youth Sunday at Mt. Vernon. Activities may be planned during and after worship service.
