Details: This event will feature a back to school fun day celebration for the kids to include bouncers, food and lots of fun activities. The church would purchase an addition basketball goal for the boys and stations like nails and spa activities would be set up for the girls. This is intended to be a day of fun activities for Mount Vernon's youth before returning to classes.
SENIOR CITIZEN DAY

Details: Special day set aside for Senior Citizens (55+) of the church. Seniors would enjoy a regular order of service and be served a meal afterwards by our Youth (youth Ushers, youth Choir & youth Greeters); followed up by goody bags for the Seniors to go.
ANNUAL FALL COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR

Church will be celebrating its 141st Church Anniversary on the 4th Sunday in November during morning worship service. Members are asked to submit a dollar for each anniversary year ($141, which may include your tithe). Everyone is invited to attend! Refreshments will be served.
